The incumbent is responsible to Ensure accounting of all transactions on branch and branchless banking system are in line with the financial reporting framework as applicable in Pakistan.

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience:

• Strong Analytical Skills and Interpersonal Skills
• Hands on experience with Oracle
• Exceptional MS Excel knowledge and hands on experience with some understanding of MS Access
• Good understanding of Banking products
• At least ACCA or CA Intermediate (Articles Completed)
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly financial statements including closing activities
2. Oversee financial closing processes of treasury (including bank reconciliations), prepayments and accrual.
3. Ensure accounting of all transactions on branch and branchless banking system are in line with the financial reporting framework as applicable in Pakistan.
4. Performing reconciliation of all core banking and branchless banking transactions with underlying reports / MIS.
5. Liaison with internal stakeholders in relation to the opening of new external service provider accounts for all new products related to Branchless Banking.
6. Responsible for actively coordinating with BP&A, Operations / Administration and Human Resources to ensure costs center allocation remains updated and accurate costs are booked by respective cost centers.
7. Assist in the implementation and integration of the Bank’s financial systems with the ERP including carrying out UATs and continuous process developments.
8. Liaising with external and internal Auditor (internal/External) as well as business and other support functions for the purpose of financial closing and reporting.
9. Carry out any task assigned by Director Financial Reporting or Financial Controller
