POWER CEMENT looking for a Manager - Financial Reporting and Analysis

We are looking for a Manager - Financial Reporting and Analysis with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

·        Produce periodic financial statements in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and Companies Act, 2017 & underlying Rules and Regulations

·        Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements, cost audits and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures and issues

·        The monthly budget to actual reports with variance analysis and other required standard reports

·        Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans

·        Initiate the development of the monthly and quarterly Management Reporting reports, Board financial reports, and other financial presentations for CFO’s review

·        Help and facilitate finance presentations as required. This includes updating trend analysis for management decision making and the stakeholders

·        Perform scenario and financial modelling, and sensitivity analysis to be used to inform strategic decisions

·        Identify and implement an enhanced process for consolidating variance analysis for review by budget holders and the leadership team

·        Responsibility for upgradation, improvements and imparting training on financial reporting systems and processes

·        In coordination with the CFO, implementation of and training for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting systems changes. This includes responsibility for the development of user manuals and training curriculum for new processes and systems/tools

·        Perform monthly and quarterly general ledger analysis on the various asset, liability, revenue and expense accounts

Qualification and Skills:

·        Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA Finance

·        Professional integrity, initiative, dependability, and commitment to excellence

·        Advance PC and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

·        Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls
