To analyze, process and maintain Company’s financial transactions and records ensuring compliance with approved accounting standards and procedures. Assists in preparing budgets, financial reports and financial analysis, and in coordinating with external parties such as government departments, banks, auditors, GSAs and suppliers in order to facilitate function-related work as per Air Arabia adopted policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Handles all the invoices and queries timely and accurately; posts the invoices for approval in line with adopted procedures; interacts with users from other departments whenever necessary to resolve issues and obtain approvals and process timely payments (including uploading the payments onto the banking portal) without any delays.
- Executes all assigned accounts Debit Notes/Credit Notes ensuring timely and accurate posting to cost elements.
- Keep track of related tax payments
- Prepares, analyzes and monitors the cash and bank positions under his purview, and provides daily reconciliations of the same, as well forecasts his requirements on a bi-weekly basis.
- Reconciliation of all POs, Invoices and Payments.
Key Result Responsibilities - Continued
- Reconcile all invoices received from Lessors, Civil Aviation, Airports, Ground Handlers, Maintenance Service Providers, Fuel Suppliers, Catering and other flight related service providers against our internal systems and approved agreements.
- Process paperwork related to Foreign Supplier Payments.
- Take approvals from relevant stakeholders for above mentioned payments.
- Have credit notes issued for any warranty claims, and other discounts.
- Reconciliation of all POs, Invoices and Payments. – including making monthly reports of supplier wise and head wise expenditure.
- Provide the head wise expenditure reports for management accounts.
- Executes any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor degree in Management or equivalent combined with necessary experience.
- Have excellent communication skills
- Can show a history of career progression and ambition to grow further
- Excellent business writing and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search (Excel Intermediate level).
- Detail oriented, comfortable with numbers, charts and data sheets.
- Fluent in English and Urdu Languages
Work Experience:
- Experience is not a must for this role given the candidate demonstrates the required competencies.
- 3-4 years of office support experience in a similar role in any industry would be an advantage.
- Capable of comprehending and classifying documents needed for required tasks.
- Ability to understand assignments and plan tasks according to priorities and logical order.
- Demonstrates the ability to operate office machines and equipment independently.
- Cooperative team player; possesses good organizing and time management skills.
