Position Summary:

The Fleet Manager will oversee and maintain the organization’s fleet of vehicles. The incumbent is expected to manage key areas of fleet operations such as fleet operations, vehicle acquisition and rentals, regulatory compliance, vehicle maintenance and fuel management. The incumbent will be responsible to increase business’s efficiency and minimize risks / costs in assigned work domain.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in MNCs will be preferred.
• MBA/ MPA or Equivalen

Required Knowledge & Skill:

• Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, MS Project.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop schedules and procedures for and ensures adherence to routine maintenance of vehicles in company’s fleet.
2. Collaborate with transportation supervisors and staff to manage and optimize expenses such as fuel expense and rental costs etc.
3. Establish a schedule for recommended replacement of fleet vehicles.
4. Supervising repairs and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
5. Oversee inventory and order vehicle parts, shop supplies & equipment.
6. Analyzing fleet operations and expenses for formal Reporting to Management.
7. Prepare and implement / manage annual budget for assigned work domain.
8. Develop and implement procedures, policies, and safety protocols for all fleet services and staff.
9. Maintain database of maintenance and repair records for company vehicles and equipment.
10. Reduce Operating Costs of the Fleet and Improving vehicle utilization.
11. Optimization of maintenance and repair programs.
12. Enhancing on-road and in-vehicle safety for all relevant stakeholders. 
13. Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures within assigned work domain.
14. Performs other related duties as and when assigned.
