Job Description
PARCO is seeking applications for the following position for its 100% owned subsidiary PARCO Pearl Gas (Pvt) Ltd. PPGL is the largest LPG marketing company in Pakistan having countrywide presence. The position is planned for Finance Department of the company.
Qualifications and Competencies:
The candidate should be CA/ACMA/ACCA having excellent knowledge of SAP and MS Office. The candidate should be a team player having ability to work in a challenging environment and lead team of young professionals having excellent written & verbal communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG sector.
Responsibilities:
To oversee and supervise following functions:
Treasury
- Manage relationships with banks and monitoring their services and related fees and address quality issues
- Direct cash management for customer collections including cash forecasting, working closely with departments to review daily forecasts and providing guidance and recommendations
- Develop systems and procedures to ensure effective management of the company’s finances that ultimately results in lower borrowing cost
- Manage long-term and short-term borrowing needs and propose investment options for surplus funds
- Managing vendor payments (local and foreign)
- Reviewing monthly bank reconciliation statements
- Supervise and develop Treasury team and ensure
Insurance
To plan and supervise timely renewal of insurance policies with optimal rates by following a transparent tendering process and performing cost/benefit analysis
Review accounting of insurance expenses, budgeting and settlement of insurance claims
Receivable
Monitor and supervise receivables team and ensure timely collection of customer receivables including preparation of receivables ageing and organizing effective credit review meetings
Review and ensure implementation of credit and collection policy and supervise, manage customer credit evaluation process, credit approval process and block-orders management
Review and ensure timely customer account reconciliations
Sales
Periodic reporting to relating product and segment costing and customer profitability analysis
