Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate in formulation of Bank’s Collection & Recovery policy in compliance with SBP regulations.
• Formulate and execute regional strategies that help in successful implementation of Recovery Policy.
• Develop tools & techniques for effective monitoring and recovery of NPLs.
• Facilitate in preparation of Recovery Manual and ensure its complete implementation.
• Allocate challenging yet realistic recovery targets to Recovery Officers, Branch Managers & CROs.
• Ensure & strive hard that recovery targets are met as set by the Management / Board.
• Ensure recovery of write-off portfolio and maintain the level as per the minimum threshold set by the Management / Board.
• Ensure process improvement / efficiency in collection / recovery process in order to contribute towards profitability.
• Ensure recovery processes are in line with the Business and Audit requirements.
• Evaluate / review collection / recovery performance and monitoring of recovery officers.
• Regularly visit high value delinquent and aged accounts.
• Strategize litigation activities with the Legal team of the Bank.
• Coordinate with local authorities over legal and other recovery measures taken by the Bank.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of reports requested by the Management including branch wise Progress Report, NPL analyses report and staff performance related reports.
• Develop a comprehensive report for lawyers or for Legal Department when required.
• Train, Coach and mentor all ROs in order to increase their capacity.
