Bahria University invites applications from suitable candidates for the post of Storeman at Bahria University Head Office, Islamabad.
QUALIFICATION
FA/ FSc or equivalent
EXPERIENCE/ SKILL:
- Preferably 3 years’ experience in a reputable organization.
- Sufficient knowledge of operating Computer and use of Microsoft Office and Inventory Management Software.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assigns numbers and tags to university assets existing or newly procured, property and equipment.
- Conducts physical muster of inventories periodically.
- Reconciles and reports on inventory discrepancies.
- Oversees procedures for proper acquisition, assignment, and /or transfer of property.
- Manages property databases and maintains inventory control records.
- Processes equipment check-out and returns.
- Provides training on asset and property management issues.
- Prepares purchase requisitions.
- Identifies and oversees equipment repairs.
- Maintains inventory record in print form and soft copies on Inventory management software.
- Prepares purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock.
- Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping date, etc.
- Assists finance offices in addition and deletion from accounting record about obsolete and sold assets prepare.
- Maintain updated depreciation and deletion record.
