MCB Islamic Bank is inviting CVs for the position of “Relationship Manager, Commercial & SME Financing" based in Lahore. Please only apply if you fulfill the criteria mentioned in the job details.
LOCATION: Lahore
QUALIFICATION
MBA/M.Com/ ACCA/ACMA or relevant Master’s Degree. Certification in Islamic Banking and Finance will be considered as value addition.
EXPERIENCE
Min 3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry, in marketing and financing functions.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build new Shari’ah compliant Commercial & SME portfolio of the bank with effective marketing according to assigned goals & targets
- Plans and coordinates marketing of products and services to all clients within the portfolio with the objective to maximize revenue / return
- Monitors the financial health and other developments in the client’s business and industry
- Develops, enhances and maintains relationships with existing and new clients to ensure revenue/profit targets are met/ exceeded.
- Provide regular updates to Unit Heads on performance of the accounts allocated.
- Analyses the clients’ financial statements, management practices etc. to assess the credit risk for the client and ensure that the credit quality of the portfolio is not compromised.
- Prepares/ initiates credit approval notes for clients and ensure that credit applications including renewals are correctly prepared in accordance with the bank’s policies and regulatory framework.
- Ensures that all documentation for a credit proposal is a complete and works with the credit quality manager to ensure that there is no security shortfall
- Verifies/inspects hypothecated/pledged inventory, mortgaged fixed assets/real estate periodically to ensure minimum credit risk
- Initiates and ensure disbursements and adjustments of financing.
- Ensures adherence to guidelines and rectification of discrepancies pointed out in the unit exception report or by internal, external and State Bank of Pakistan auditors.
- Liaisons with various internal departments (Credit, Legal, Operations, FRCD (CAD) etc.) for smooth and quick turnaround of transactions.
- Ensures provisions of high quality and timely service to clients.
