HBL is looking to hire a Research Analyst in Treasury and Global Markets, Karachi who will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on investments to the equity team based on the analyses of investment ideas and valuations.
Job Details:
• Develop original and bottom-up understanding of the industry and the company dynamics in order to learn the business drivers, strategic motives and corporate governance factors.
• Carry out financial performance analysis of selected companies while accumulating an understanding of economic and industrial factors on business valuation.
• Design and evaluate financial models using various forecasting techniques and equity valuation models to gauge returns and formulate recommendations on the investments.
• Prepare presentations on domestic economy segment for the monthly ALCO meetings and assist the FX sales team in mediating the economic forecasts to corporate clients.
Location: Karachi
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
Experience: 2 years of sell-side or buy-side experience in capital markets.
