Job Purpose:
To manage and promote the sales of National Foods' products in respective markets by ensuring that the region-wise distributor sales targets, profitability and objectives are achieved.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Forecast and achieve Region-wise Sales targets in the assigned markets
- Assign sales targets for each individual distributor(s) and be responsible for achieving those sales targets.
- Coordinate with and monitor distributor’s performance and take counter measures. (where required)
- Generate orders and take constant follow up and monitor to achieve sales targets.
- Offer Trade discounts to distributors on Peak seasons to generate additional sales.
Market and promote National brand products in assigned markets by various marketing activities and market visits
- Prepare Marketing and Sales Budgets / Presentation for different Markets and Regions, categorized into ATL and BTL activities planned for the upcoming year and have it approved from the Management.
- Evaluate the market potential and determine the Product mix to be offered to the distributor
- Coordinate and support distributor and trade for various ATL and BTL activities, based on the market potential and requirements.
- Plan market visits, organize and participate in various Consumer and B2B exhibitions, Festivals and Fairs to create awareness, and advertise and promote National Foods range of products.
- Keep a track of the Marketing expenses incurred and the budgets available.
Study, evaluate and monitor Market trends for Growth Potential and Opportunities
- Conduct in-depth analysis for various export markets, to evaluate the Market potential and growth opportunities, by studying demographics, competitor model, pricing and sales trends.
- Evaluate month-wise / season-wise sales trend in individual market to plan category wise seasonal sales.
- Coordinate with R&D for the Food laws and languages required for the respective market to avoid any legal conflicts and ensure smooth customs clearance
- Study the new potential categories and range extensions which would help diversify the current Export portfolio and will significantly increase in the Export sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree desirable
Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience required
