Hilal Foods (Pvt) Ltd. Jobs Channel Manager
Role:
To facilitate Hilal Foods business by ensuring efficient Planning, execution, and Controls of the Category & Channel in the market. Identify opportunities in the defined channel to build and enhance trade presence, visibility, trade & consumer activation.
Main Accountabilities:
- Execute channel and category planning through developing annual/monthly category plans for channel
- Leading the development of a channel strategy which seeks to target incremental sales growth opportunities in existing, emerging and new retail environments
- Establishing objectives and KPIs for all categories and retail environments and ensuring tracking mechanisms are in place and utilized
- Anticipating, predicting, and proactively responding to competitive moves and tactics in the channel, and in-store programs
- Tracking, reviewing and modifying channel and account plans to ensure brand objectives are achieved within channel and customer P&L guidelines
- Conducting pre and post analyses of channel/customer promotions, and adjusting business plans based on results to drive improved return on investment in all types of trade spending
- Objective setting, activity coordination and spending
- Coordinating the planning and execution of channel and account activities and communicating plans to the relevant Field Sales force on time and accurately
- Development and execution of in-store branding/communication material
- Development, monitoring and tracking of channel budgets
Competencies and Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Flexibility and endurance in a challenging environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient use of MS Excel
Qualification and Experience:
- Preferably Masters from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry
