Habib Bank Limited HBL Jobs for Assistant Compliance Officer In Istanbul Branch

 

HBL is looking to hire an Assistant Compliance Officer for our Istanbul Branch who will be responsible for assisting the Bank’s Head of Compliance for sound implementation of compliance risk management.

Responsibilities

·       Identify, manage, report, and escalate compliance risks including financial crime risk and execute activities aimed at mitigation of such risks.

·       Implement, prepare, and update the policies, procedures, and guidelines of Compliance Risk Management (including Financial Crime risk) and fulfill the roles and responsibilities specified

·       Roll-out, execute and follow-up risk assessments (effective risk management).

·       Assist the Head of Compliance in the establishment of a compliance risk culture.

·       Review KYC of High-Risk customers and handle transaction monitoring & sanction screening alerts.

·       Work in coordination with business and risk units during the assessment of business processes, products, and related documents in terms of compliance risks (including Financial Crime risk) and provide advice to take required actions to mitigate identified compliance risks.

·       Assist in the training, awareness and communication activities related to compliance risks,

·       Responsible for compliance oversight including monitoring & reporting on financial crime compliance related risks.

·       Handle Compliance Department related regulatory and head office reporting.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       Advanced level of written and verbal English and Turkish language

·       CAMS / CGSS certifications are a plus

Skills

·       Excellent KYC/AML and compliance risk management skills, grasp on all local and international legislation

·       Exceptional writing skills, with ability to prepare effective communication to related regulators and Senior Management; ability to work under pressure and tireless work ethic

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Compliance Risk Management, including Financial Crime Risk related matters, preferably in a global financial institution.
