Key Responsibilities:

Following are the key responsibilities under the said position:

Content Development

• Draft, and edit written materials and content as needed for partner, program, and communications teams;
• Draft statements, talking points, blog posts, op-eds, speeches and press releases;
• Provide support and backup as needed on social media posting and scheduling;

Promotion and Visibility

• Provide assistance in mapping of print & electronic media at provincial and district level.
• Provide assistance in development of plan regarding involvement of print and electronic media for creating public awareness about routine immunization including polio.
• Provide assistance in keeping close liaison with district level press clubs, Directorate of Information, Radio Pakistan, FM channels and other line departments.
• Ensure consistent promotion of vaccination messages and visibility of EOC initiatives and activities including relevant articles and interviews of relevant authorities

Engagement at digital platforms

• Mapping of provincial digital forums/pages
• Consistent high visibility on each digital platforms
• Maintenance of EOC Punjab pages
• Provide assistance in any task assigned by EOC Coordinator relate dto external communication.

02-Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Education: Minimum Bachelor degree in Social Sciences

Experience: 4-5 years of experience in planning, programming, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health programmed

Language: Fluency in written and spoken English/Urdu

Gender: Male/Female

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Accurate information, data analysis, and documentation are timely made available to support situation analysis, sectoral input and reporting required for Provincial EOC and UNICEF. Ensure high quality data is collected and integrity of the data. Processing of data and coming up with reports on various projects.
• Develops appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data products, maintain and improve existing tools, collaborates in selecting appropriate data collection instruments or in designing instruments. Collects data from different sources including UCs/districts/provincial & federal level also from counter parts & related websites and creates/prepares appropriate spreadsheets and databases. Cleans, collates, summarizes received data and prepares reports accordingly for the dissemination at different levels.
• Analysis of information using various statistical methods, trying to see trends and patterns in data. Develops and prepares information products to be used by the EOC and UNICEF. Developing of programmes using EOC dashboard that can be used for data analysis and presentation.
• Hands on with various modes of data presentation (graphical, maps, tabular and descriptive etc.)
• To come up with innovative data visualization for use at different settings and for diverse audiences.
• Conduct field monitoring visits for evaluation of existing strategies; present timely report on monitoring and evaluation
• Contribute into the planning and implementation of campaign monitoring
• Other assigned duties and responsibilities are effectively accomplished.

COMPETENCIES

Common Technical Knowledge Required

Knowledge of theories and practices in:

• Polio Eradication Initiative, Monitoring & Evaluation of Campaigns.
• Knowledge Management
• Computer software application, including word processing, spreadsheet and PowerPoint
• Software packages
• Strong data analytical skills

General knowledge of:

• Methodology of programme/project management
• Programmatic goals, visions, positions, policies and strategies in PEI
• Knowledge of global situation on Polio and other issues, specifically relating to children and women, and the current trends, methods and approaches.
• Policies and strategy to address national and global issues, particularly relating to conflicts, natural disasters, and recovery.
• Emergency programme policies, goals, strategies and approaches.
