This role will be a hybrid between a data scientist and a cross-functional business analyst. We are looking for a self-starter with a proactive mindset who can understand the drivers behind a rapidly growing business across functions. Responsibilities will revolve around planning and reporting, predictive modelling and forecasting and analyzing large volumes of data to identify actionable insights. The ideal candidates should have strong technical skills and a solid knowledge of core business principles.

Responsibilities:

Work with data and information from a variety of sources: financial, marketing, operations, logistics, inventory, sales, customer service
Create reports and dashboards to track key metrics across functions
Analyze large volumes of data to create data driven insights that enable accurate decision-making
Undertake exploratory analysis projects to achieve a better understanding of business processes and discover opportunities for optimization
Implement data products that use machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, clustering, predictive modelling, forecasting and decision analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Math, Stats, Business Analytics majors preferred)
• Fresh to up to 1 year work experience in Business Intelligence or Data Science
• Strong familiarity with Excel, SQL, Python and/ or R programming

Position: Software Engineer (React JS)

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js.

Responsibilities:

• Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing those following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.
• You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
• Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and testing, and debugging.
• Develop, design, implement and integrate new applications while providing support and continual development and maintenance of existing applications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, and collaborate with Development team members and Product Management.
• Identify software performance issues and creatively work to problem solve.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Knowledge of CSS, SASS, HTML and front-end languages.
• 2-3 years of experience in working with React
